New sprint creation with start date and duration causes overlap with next sprint - need an option to fix this either by changing the default behavior or having an option to create next sprint with no overlap

Currently a new sprint creation with a start date and a duration in weeks causes the next sprint to start on the same day as the end of current , creating an unnecessary annoying overlap.

If this behavior is needed for (who knows or wants it?) some reason, I want the option to not have this overlap by ending current sprint exactly a day before or at the time stamp when new sprint is to start.

For example Sept 10 start date with 2 weeks duration causes Jira to create next sprint 2 weeks later that starts on Sept 24 which is ok but the current sprint also ends on Sept 24 instead of Sept 23 which causes an unnecessary overlap which causes other issues.

I would make a case to change this behavior and failing that have an option at new sprint creation to not have an overlap by adjusting the start end dates between sprints to avoid any overlap of a day that sadly exists today
