Summary:
Users are not always directed to the correct default view in Jira Advanced Roadmaps when accessing old or outdated URLs. This is due to the presence of a view ID parameter in the URL, which can cause inconsistencies if the referenced view has been deleted or changed.
If the view no longer exists, users are redirected to the current default view.
Current Workaround:
Delete the outdated view.
When a user accesses a URL referencing a deleted view, Jira will redirect them to the default view (if it still exists).
How to change Advanced Roadmaps default view for all Jira users
Feature Request:
Enhance Jira Advanced Roadmaps to automatically redirect users to the current default view when they access a URL containing a non-existent or outdated view ID.
This should happen seamlessly, without requiring administrators to manually delete old views. Additionally, consider providing a user-friendly message or notification when a redirect occurs, to inform users that the view they tried to access no longer exists.
