Issue Summary

Pasting a URL over Select‑All text does not apply link mark, instead content is replaced with expanded URL.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Copy URL as comment. Specially SharePoint file URL.
2. Paste it in comment in Visual mode.

Expected Results

The link should be shown neatly as external URLs are displayed usually.

Actual Results

The link does not shows as external URL, rather gets expanded to longer URL. This behaviour is not consistent, happens intermittently.

Workaround

Format the comment as external url in text mode with [|] .
