When we are defining the improper HTML tags in the announcement banner, it can lead to issues that disrupt Jira's native functionality. Workaround:

Improper use of HTML tags in the announcement banner can lead to issues that disrupt Jira's native functionality.  Sometimes, Announcement Banner scripts cause some pages of Jira to be blank or have anomalies.

Suggestion:

To prevent issues from affecting our Jira functionality, we should implement checks during the announcement banner configuration process. This will ensure that incorrect HTML tags are not permitted, or at the very least, an error message should be displayed when configuring incorrect HTML tags.
