      Problem

Currently, setting up mail servers requires providing a user account for authentication. This poses a challenge for customers who prefer to use token authentication, especially those with restrictions on the number of user accounts due to organizational policies, security measures, or licensing constraints.

      Suggested Solution

Implement the ability to configure mail servers using token authentication, eliminating the need for a specific user account. This feature would allow authentication through tokens that have already been set up in the application links.

      Why This Is Important

By enabling token-based authentication for mail servers, organizations can maintain their security and policy standards without increasing the number of user accounts. This is crucial for customers with limitations on account creation, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.

      Workaround

As a temporary solution, customers can create a dedicated service account with minimal permissions specifically for mail server authentication. However, this workaround still requires the creation of an additional account, which may not be feasible for all organizations due to their restrictions.
