Issue Summary
On the “Burndown Chart" page, there is no mechanism to turn off or remap the character key shortcut.
Steps to Reproduce
- Navigate to the mentioned page.
- Turn on the screen reader.
- Trigger the character key shortcut “Z” to hide/show the header.
- Observe that this shortcut does not work in the browse mode.
- Observe that there is no mechanism to turn off or remap this shortcut.

Actual Results
There is a single character key shortcut that is used to open the “hide/show the header” modal. When screen reader users try to use this shortcut, it does not work. This is because single characters already have different elements associated with them for quick navigation, such as "G" for graphics, "L" for lists, and so on. There is no way to turn off or remap this shortcut. As a result, screen readers will not benefit from this shortcut.
Expected Results
The use of single character key shortcuts should be avoided since these generally do not work with most of the screen readers, such as JAWS or NVDA.
Avoid the use of single character key shortcuts or provide any of the following.
- A required modifier key, such as Ctrl or Alt.
- A mechanism to disable the character key shortcuts.
- A mechanism to remap the character key shortcuts.
As well, make sure that the shortcuts are only activatable when the specific component has keyboard focus.

Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
