Backlog | Create Sprint: Insufficient color contrast for the standard text

      Issue Summary

      The color contrast for some of the text on the page does not meet the minimum color contrast ratio i.e. 4.5:1.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Open the "Create sprint" modal dialog.
      2. Navigate to the "Calendar" and activate it.
      3. Navigate to the mentioned instance.
      4. Use the CCA testing tool to check the color contrast.
      5. Observe that the color contrast between the foreground text and the background is insufficient.

      Actual Results

      The text "WK" in the Calendar on the "Create sprint" page, fails the minimum color contrast requirements with its background color i.e. 4.5:1.
      FG: #888888
      BG: #F4F5F7
      Contrast ratio: 3.2:1

      As a result, low-vision users and color-blind users will find it difficult to read standard text elements that have insufficient contrast.

      Expected Results

      On all pages, ensure that each foreground/background color combination presents a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for standard text.

      Workaround

      Currently, there is no known workaround for this behaviour. A workaround will be added here when available

            Hi everyone,

            As part of our accessibility and usability improvements, we’re now offering light and dark theme for Jira. Because of this we’ve decided to deprecate the Original theme. Upgrade to Jira 10.3 Long Term Support to enjoy the new themes.
