This xalan:xalan Dependency vulnerability, with a CVSS Score of 7.5 and a CVSS Vector of CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:N allows an unauthenticated attacker to expose assets in your environment susceptible to exploitation which has no impact to confidentiality, high impact to integrity, no impact to availability, and requires no user interaction.
Atlassian recommends that Jira Software Data Center and Server customers upgrade to latest version, if you are unable to do so, upgrade your instance to one of the specified supported fixed versions:

The National Vulnerability Database provides the following description for this vulnerability: The Apache Xalan Java XSLT library is vulnerable to an integer truncation issue when processing malicious XSLT stylesheets. This can be used to corrupt Java class files generated by the internal XSLTC compiler and execute arbitrary Java bytecode. Users are recommended to update to version 2.7.3 or later. Note: Java runtimes (such as OpenJDK) include repackaged copies of Xalan.
