Ability to clear the Read-only custom field using the Automation

      While it's possible to update the read-only custom field with some values using the automation, it's not possible to clear the text of this field using the automation.

      It would be good to have an option to remove the text of this field using the Automation.

            Is this likely to be fixed?
            I notice there have been reports of this issue in various forms for a number of years now. We'd really like to see it fixed.

            Using Jira Software Data Centre v9.15.2.
