I agree. The "Edit Comment" pop-up dialog should not be a fixed size. It should be relative to the screen size, and preferable resizable and moveable, or better yet, openable in a separate window. I consider this to be a diversity and accessibility issue. There are many neurodivergent developers. Many of them have difficulty when they cannot see all of the information they need to see all at once, or if they have to take their hands off the keyboard to scroll up and down. They adapt by having large monitors and opening windows as large as possible, which provides as few distractions as possible. The Jira "Edit Comment" window intentionally restricts this method of adaptability for no apparent reason. I feel like I'm trying make changes while looking through a telescope, backwards. And every time I try to use the resize triangle in the lower right corner, it does nothing (because it's already maxed). That feels like I'm being teased, like one of your developers said, "Hey, users should be able to resize this window." and another one said, "No they shouldn't, but I can't remove what that other developer did, so I'll just block it a different way."

This is a problem for anybody, not just those blessed with neurodivergent thinking. The word wrap is less than ideal, especially for code blocks which makes it difficult to see what's going on, especially in languages that depend on indentation like Python and Yaml. It would be nice to see what the comment will look like without saving and re-editing.
