Problem Definition

We introduced Parent/Child Issues panel visible in Jira Issue View based on https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JPOSERVER-1357 However, there isn't any documentation in Portfolio for Jira Server explaining this in detail.

Suggested Solution

Create a documentation detailing the Jira Issue view of Parent/Child issues panel, including but not limited to the following

• Details found in Cloud doc - https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiraportfoliocloud/showing-portfolio-custom-fields-in-jira-software-856708725.html
• Parent/Child panel appear on Initiative and Hierarchy usage
• Permission related to view/configure if any

Why this is important

• Remove inconsistency between Cloud and Server documentation in which both features existed in both products
• Ensuring all introduced features in the respective product is documented for Support and Customers
