Advanced Roadmaps Plans can be configured with various sources, including boards, filters and projects. This allows for massive amounts of data to be loaded in a single plan, which can end up causing poor plan loading times.
Having an in-depth documentation which details best practices when selecting / configuring sources, as well as showing the impact that such sources have in a plan loading time would be extremely valuable in educating users on configuring Advanced Roadmaps plans. For example:
- Correlate number of releases with the loading time of a plan
- Correlate the number of issues with the loading time of a plan
- Is there a breakpoint with the amount of data loaded in a plan before significant performance degradation is experienced?
