issuesInPlan function should exclude completed issues similar to the behaviour in plans

    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

ARJ places this extra condition when loading a plan based on the plan config to exclude completed issues - but does not apply it for the issuesInPlan JQL function.

This impacts the performance for large enterprise instances since

      • Jira Software boards by default does not exclude completed issues
      • many teams do not have healthy backlogs.
