    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for Advanced Roadmaps for Jira Server/Data Center. Using Advanced Roadmaps for Jira in Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

In JIRA Agile the date picker starts with a Monday while in JIRA plan view, it starts with a Sunday. This is confusing for the users.

Please change the calendar to start with a Monday in Advanced Roadmaps plans as well.

          Form Name

[JSWSERVER-25149] Date picker - start week on Monday

This should be classed as a Bug, not a suggestion. The Jira Plans/Roadmaps product is not respecting the ISO8601 standard setting in the Look and Feel administration screen.

Please fix/change. Sometimes it is so tedious having to "vote" for tiny little obvious adjustments in the Atlassian software universe. Can't be a big thing and is simply an inconsistent behaviour inside the same software.
If you want to offer high-quality software, which satisfies customers, you also need to deal with the small things and not just "big features once in a while" or "cloud-only".
Thanks a lot for your support.

Please implement so that all places in Jira that has a date picker follows the same configuration.

Actually, this issues behavior can lead to incorrect values being specified, because this is behaving completely different than the rest of Jira.

Changing it or making it configurable is definitely needed.

Please update us on this. Thanks!

We have 2021, even simple Android Apps are able to deal with Monday (at least) as an Week start day. Fun fact: Even Atlassian is able to do this, just Portfolio / Advanced Roadmaps are not.

It is really annoying that advanced roadmaps does not use the settings that have been set the system config.  In Germany we use ISO8601. Please fix that for improved usability.

            The same in Germany.

Very sad that this obvious point of annoyment is still not fixed.

Hi, same issue here (located in France).

            • I use new Plan (easyness),
            • In secure/admin/LookAndFeel!default.jspa => Use ISO8601 standard in Date Picker is set to True (greatness)
            • In plan, weeks keep beginning on sunday (sadness)

Agree to Björn & Lauren, I'm located in Sweden.

            Please, fix this!

            Remember, Atlassian:

How shall I present this for Business, when trying to use Portfolio to setup for all SAFe method.

It can end up on Business will change to different system. Not using JIRA!

Agree to Lauren - same problem in Sweden and in many many other countries.

Especially, we want Portfolio to use the settings we have already made in Jira.

As a UK based user where the working week starts on a Monday, it's easy to accidentally assign the wrong availability and days in Portfolio due to assuming the calendar format is the same as elsewhere in the system. It's amazing how often you click the first and the the fifth item in a row (to indicate Mon- Fri) before you've even registered or noticed that you need to select the second and sixth because the Portfolio calendar starts on a Sunday.

Please fix to be in line with JIRA settings.
