As a PM, I can select "Use Release dates" in the configuration for issue types when a sprint isn't provided without having to "auto-schedule"

As a PM, when I create my plan hierarchy of [Parent] -> Epic -> Story AND I set a release for those issues with a fixed end date, the Due Date [D] field AND I have not yet estimated, the timeline should forecast (the bar) to my fixed end date without having to "auto-schedule" SO THAT I can immediately see a representation of my epic on the timeline.

As a PM, when I create my plan hierarchy of [Parent] -> Epic -> Story AND I set a release for those issues with a fixed end date, the Due Date [D] field AND I have not yet estimated, the timeline should forecast (the bar) to my fixed end date So That I can immediately see a representation of my epic on the timeline more accurately reflected by the epic estimate.

As a PM, I'd like to be able to T-shirt size my epics and provide a template by which to map those sizes into projects (min -> max) on my timeline.  For example we use: S - 1-3 week, M - 3-6 weeks, L - 6-9 weeks.
