    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

In Advanced Roadmaps Plans, we see that the Dependency for an issue is indicated in Red Colour instead of Blue and this can mislead representing it as an Warning/Error in the Plan but in real the red indicator simply shows that an issue is blocked by another issue. This happens for dependent issues scheduled concurrently, even if the related Plan is set to allow concurrent dependencies:

      Steps to Repro:

      1. Create an Issue:
      2. Create a Subtask and link it as blocks to issue created above:
      3. Create another issue and link it to issue created in step#1:
      4. Create a Plan and add the Project to the Plan. Now in the Issue, we see that there are red indicators for the Subtask which indicate that the issue is blocked by a Subtask:
      5. In Dependency report we see:
      • Red indicators are shown for the Subtask blocking Issue: PRO1-9
      • Blue indicators are shown for other issue blocking Issue: PRO1-9

      Suggestion:

The Dependencies in Issue should be indicated as Blue instead of Red because the Red indicator can misleads that there is an Warning/Error.
