      Hi Jim,

      Sorry, I missed this email when I replied a few moments ago. Thanks, I'll pass this along to the documentation team.

      Good to go.

      Found the server log that had the startup error information about the plugin. My .jar file was corrupted, I re-downloaded, and now see the menu.

      Suggest adding a "what if you don't see the GreenHopper menu" to your setup instructions.
      a) verify the .jar file is good (size, can jar tf process it)
      b) check the server stdout log for more details

      thanks,
      jim

      Still not getting it...

      I am following the detailed instructions provided on the web site, however I am not locating the GreenHopper section of the administration page menu.

      "Select 'License Details' from the 'GreenHopper' section of the administration menu. "

      I have the following installed:
      /cygdrive/c/Program Files/Atlassian
      $ ls Application\ Data/JIRA/plugins/installed-plugins/

      jira-greenhopper-plugin-5.0.1.jar

      $ ls JIRA\ 4.1.2/atlassian-jira/WEB-INF/lib/jira*
      ls: cannot access JIRA 4.1.2/atlassian-jira/WEB-INF/lib/jira*: No such file or directory

      I have restarted Jira and have also tried rebooting the machine.

      • how can I tell if the plugin is being seen?
      • where, specifically is the GreenHopper section of the Admin menu?

      thanks,
      jim

      Hi Jim,

      Sorry we missed you on Live Chat.

      JIRA and GreenHopper licenses are separate, there is no bundled JIRA/GreenHopper download evaluation license. I have added a GreenHopper evaluation license to your account [UN: jim_stafford@sra.com ]. Here are the GreenHopper install instructions:

      Cheers,
      Eric Snyder

      My newupcoming project has Jira and Greehopper purchased and installed and does not seem to be leveraging it completely for an Agile process. I wanted to play with a test instance and attempted to download Jira Greenhopper just to experiment over the weekend. After the 30 trial install, I could not locate Greenhopper in my instance. Can I try Greenhopper for play locally?
