Issue Summary
- Audit log says "Scheduled sync of organisations performed" even though there are no dvcs accounts configured.
- User integrated couple of accounts in the past for testing but all are removed now.
- However this logging doesn't impact any functionality in Jira or DVCS.
This is reproducible on Data Center: yes
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a Jira instance with DVCS integration.
- Check audit logs after DVCS scheduler job runs.
Expected Results
- There should not be any DVCS related audit logs if there are no DVCS accounts configured.
Actual Results
In audit logs we find "Scheduled sync of organisations performed" entries.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available

Dear Customers, Thank you for taking the time to file and comment on this issue. Feedback like yours helps us release valuable Jira features that solve problems for a greater customer base. This issue has been reviewed by the Jira Data Center Development team. As a result of our investigation, {*}we have reclassified this ticket as a suggestion{*}. Our decision is based on the fact that the scheduler is designed to schedule synchronization jobs whenever DVCS is installed and enabled regardless of the linked organizations. Importantly, this does not affect any system behavior since the job doesn't take any actions when the organization list is empty. We hope this clarifies our assessment, and we thank you for your valuable feedback, which helps us improve Jira. Best regards Maria Mikołajczak Software Engineer Jira DC {panel} |
