Currently, our GDPR documentation for Jira server's MS Teams integration states that we have two Azure clusters in which customer data is stored:

Our cloud provider is Microsoft Azure. We host all static files (HTML, CSS, JavaScript files) and RESTful web services under two regions: West Europe (Netherlands) and Central US (Iowa).

At the moment user cannot choose in what region to store data afore mentioned (Oauth tokens and Jira url), so all user's requests will be served by closest region to the user. 

But this is apparently incorrect; it seems that this information is correct for the Cloud offering, but not for the Server offering. For Jira Server, there is only a service based in the USA.

This is problematic for at least a couple reasons:

• Customers who cannot or do not wish to have data stored in the USA are unknowingly doing so
• This results in high latency and slowed performance for customers in the EU, as each request has to go EU -> USA -> EU -> USA -> EU.

We should investigate possibilities for data storage closer to our EU customers to help them avoid these issues.
