      Both documentations above explain how to customer email content templates. While descriptive, it is still hard to fully understand it.

      Suggested Solution

      More explanation on how email notifications are actually composed from the templates, how the templates are nested within each other, etc. Include diagrams (UML diagram or anything else) for ease of understanding.

      Why This Is Important

      Customising email templates are a very common practice due to security reasons, most common being to just remove some content from the templates. However, many admins struggle with this. Better documentation would make it easier for admins to perform simple customisation of the templates.
