Problem

The user shows "Never Logged In" but there are activities (comments, issues) recorded against the user.

Environment

Any Jira version.

Steps to Reproduce

• External user directory is in place
• The user belongs to an external LDAP directory
  Behavior does not occur when User Directory is disabled or enabled.

Expected Results

Every time a user logs in (i.e. first and subsequent times), the user's data in Jira will be updated.

Actual Results

If a User Directory is removed and added back again, the "Login details" column displayed "Never Logged In" will not be updated anymore.

Workaround

No workaround is available at the moment. Sooner we found one will be added here.

The KB was created explained the same: User last login shows Never Logged in but with activities.
