Issue Summary
Feedback form fails to load when logged out of jira.atlassian.com
This is reproducible on Data Center: yes
Steps to Reproduce
- Open incognito / private window
- Go to a DC instance
- Log in to the DC instance
- In a new tab go to https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa
- Log in to jira.atlassian.com
- Log out again
- Go back to other DC instance
- Open the devtools network tab and check disable cache to ensure you don’t use javascript cached from previous attempts (may not be necessary if you haven’t opened the modal yet)
- Click the feedback button in the top right
Expected Results
Expected the modal to load
Actual Results
Instead we see the "Jira server could not be contacted" error message. From looking at the network requests I can see that a request for the modals javascript is redirected to an Atlassian auth url
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
