Currently, if you perform a JQL search and you decide to display the Sprint column on the results all of the Sprint values will be displayed in that column (which is expected) for the search results:

However, for reporting purposes, it would be nice if the information of the Sprint field was customizable and users could choose to display the active sprints associated with the issue.

Furthermore, an Active Sprint could be implemented for this particular purpose.
