Problem
After writing a comment on a subtask, but before submitting it, if the 'back' navigation is triggered, we get a warning with a chance to cancel or hit ok, but either way, the 'back' continues, and the comment is lost.
Environment
Found in 8.5.4 and 8.13.6
only tested on Mac
Steps to Reproduce
1. Go to a non-epic issue that has a subtask.
2. Click on a subtask.
3. Open the comment box and type some text. Do not submit the comment.
4. Click on the back button
5. Click "Cancel" on the dialog box that pops up.
Expected Results
The 'back' is cancelled and the comment is preserved
Actual Results
We are sent back to the parent task and the comment is lost
Workaround
No workaround
Notes
Reproduced in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Vivaldi
- The warning about going back is specific to Jira and mentions the comment.
- If you hit 'back' on a subtask that was not opened exactly according to these instructions, you will get a generic 'leave the page' warning, and that works as expected (can be canceled properly)
