Problem Definition

Currently, there isn't a feature that allows admins to export/import "Fix Version/s"("Releases") in Jira Software projects.

Suggested Solution

• Implement import/Export feature on the "Fix Version/s" configuration page ("Releases") within Jira Software projects
  • e.g. version name, status, release date.
• Allow "Fix Version/s values to be copied along with the Jira issues when performing a bulk change

Why this is important

• Saves admins time when moving Jira issues/tasks from one project to another(bulk operations)
• Potential for discrepancies in the "Fix Version/s" field when moving Jira issues/tasks from one project to another

Workaround

• Manually recreate the "Fix Version/s" in the project settings - ensure that all attributes of each version are identical to the "source" or original "Fix Version/s" values.
