Jira's Quick Search feature is currently very useful, and could be even more powerful with project contexts defined. For example: which custom field should be used by quick search should be available using project context. "Project A" might not select any custom fields to be quick-searched. Or "Project B" may require custom fields X and Y to be quick searched.
