Issue Summary
As sub-tasks are unable to commit their value of the Team field (associated with Advanced Roadmaps for Jira) back to Jira Software, the Two Dimensional Filter Statistics is unable to display the correct information associated with this field.
For instance, if you create three different issues in Advanced Roadmaps, an Epic, a Story, and a Sub-task associated with the Story, assign these issues to a certain team (let's call it Team A) in Advanced Roadmaps and commit that information back to Jira, the gadget will display the selected team correctly for the Epic and the Story, but will display None as the selected value for the Sub-task.
Additionally, if you click on the gadget's information associated with the Team A field, the filter's results will be displayed, and you will see the sub-task listed under them.
Similarly, if you click on the None section, you will see no results being listed.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create 3 issues in Advanced Roadmaps, in a certain project X an Epic, a Story, and a Sub-task associated with the Story, assign these issues to a certain team (let's call it Team A).
- Commit that information back to Jira.
- Create a filter Y that returns these three issues (for instance project = X and key in (X-1, X-2, X-3)).
- Add the Two Dimensional Filter Statistics Gadget to a dashboard and select the filter Y as the Saved Filter. Select the Sprint field as the XAxis and the Team field as the YAxis.
Expected Results
- The gadget would display the 3 issues as having the same team.
Actual Results
- The gadget displays two issues having the correct team, and for the sub-task, it displays None as the value.
- Additionally, if you click on the number of results that have the correct value, the resulting filter will correctly display the 3 issues.
- Furthermore, if you click on the None results, no issues are displayed.
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior other than not using sub-tasks. A workaround will be added here when available
