PROBLEM: When you set up a Subscription for a Saved Filter, you are limited with properties to manage the content of E-mails.
Specifically, no possibility to define -
- subject for emails (it's a Filter Name what is taken as email subject, no chance to override it with any custom text)
- email body as some additional text to place above the list of issues
USE CASE: I set up several subscriptions by saved filters for my team to timely remind important things - for example to log time on closed tasks, to set Story Points for anything taken into current sprint, and a few more. Overall purpose - maintain a higher culture of reporting and transparency about the development process.
RATIONALE: So, when a filter triggers a subscription to send out email, I feel the ability to add subject and body to emails would increase the efficiency of those notifications because it would clearly explain to people a) the reason of such emails, b) what they need to do, and c) what will happen to them if they don't do what I ask
Thank you. Hope this sounds as a useful enhancement although quite easy to implement because it just slightly extends the attributes of available components, no new rockets.
