    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

We use Secure IMAP and Office 365 to create issues from emails. Microsoft however has decided to remove basic authentication, see: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/office/blogs/end-of-support-for-basic-authentication-access-to-exchange-online-apis-for-office-365-customers/

Since OAuth2.0 "Modern Authentication" will be the only authentication type supported, please implement this feature.
