Description
Summary
Bug raised in Developer Support: https://ecosystem.atlassian.net/browse/DEVHELP-1990
- Create a Project Blueprint/Template and ensure the type is 'Software'
- In the Hook called after the project is initially created, add code to update the 'Custom' Permission Scheme
- Inspect the project created
- This is caused by a Handler in Greenhopper code called on ProjectCreated – If it determines that the project is of type Software, then it overrides the permission scheme.
This is unexpected! You should be setting those configuration items in the Hook! Using a listener prevents us from making this work correctly!
Notes
- I've asked Jira Server which class is this "Handler", is it by design, and what could be the reason for that but got no response. Putting it here for more expertise
