Jira Software overrides PermissionScheme set in Blueprint Template Hook

    Description

      Summary

Bug raised in Developer Support: https://ecosystem.atlassian.net/browse/DEVHELP-1990

      1. Create a Project Blueprint/Template and ensure the type is 'Software'
      2. In the Hook called after the project is initially created, add code to update the 'Custom' Permission Scheme
      3. Inspect the project created
      4. This is caused by a Handler in Greenhopper code called on ProjectCreated – If it determines that the project is of type Software, then it overrides the permission scheme.

This is unexpected! You should be setting those configuration items in the Hook! Using a listener prevents us from making this work correctly!

      Notes

      • I've asked Jira Server which class is this "Handler", is it by design, and what could be the reason for that but got no response. Putting it here for more expertise
