In our enviroment, we have noticed that automatic emails send by for example system control services are altered by wiki renderer.

For example when text starts with "***" text is formatted for list. This can cause problems, when urgent messages are investigated and messages are altered when not needed. This could be averted by using text renderer, but our users are very fond of user mentions "@user" which work only in wiki renderer.

Is there any chance to get "light-weight" renderer, where only @user mentions are used and all other text styling is off. Strikethrough-effect is one of the bad ones.
