      Hi

      The Administer projects permission includes :  edit  project components, project versions, 

       

      As we want to manage permission with agile role would it be possible to have à permission to manage Components and versions ?

       

      We would like to have the administer projects just for the admin (with user management, project details...) and allow to manage the Sprint, Component and versions by our PO, Scrum Master (Agile role)

            We would love this feature request to be implemented too:

            adding both Components and Versions to the Project Permissions Scheme, so we can control access using our own Role.

            I fixed this problem on Versions by using this add-on application:

            https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1214929/version-manager-for-jira?hosting=server&tab=overview

            But there doesn't appear to be an add-on for controlling permissions to Components.

            We still waiting for this separated permission (version creation) for Jira Server. Version Manager don't have ability to create version directly from version field and user will need  to go to another tab and first create version than go back to issue. This are too much unnecessary actions.
