There are two ways, that I know of, how to restrict the amount of fields shown for bulk operations.
1. Custom Field Context
- Configure each Custom field only for the project context it is applicable for
2. Field Configuration Scheme
- Hide not wanted fields in the configuration scheme
The problem with the 1st option is that when you create a new project you always have to adjust the context of each field you want to use.
The 2nd option is the option of my choice because it "adjust" automatically. The problem here is that once a new custom field is created the custom field is automatically added to the existing field configurations as shown.
The suggestion is: Please add those fields as hidden, so that the people can make it visible if needed but do not have to hide all fields once in a while.
