Summary
The name of the Priority field is overlapping with the issue summary in some of the cards in the Backlog view.
Environment
- Jira 8.0.0
- Cannot reproduce in Jira 7.13
Steps to Reproduce
- Go to âš™ > Issues > Priorities
- Edit any of the priority and change the value of the Icon URL field to an invalid URL
Expected Results
Text is rendered properly without issue.
Actual Results
The priority field is not showing as an icon, but as text, and the text is overlapping with the issue description.
- The "broken icon" symbol may not display - on some scenarios you can only see the written name of the priority overlapping with other information.
Workaround
- Login as a Jira system administrator.
- Go to the page âš™ > Issues > Priorities
- Check if the icon is broken for any of the priority, as shown in the example below:
- For each of the priority that has a broken icon, edit it and check the Icon URL
- If it has a different icon URL in comparison to the other priorities, please edit this as per this documentation and make sure that all of them use the same path. The example below shows what the default path should be for the low priority:
