Problem Definition

Currently, when a user create a Epic issue, following warning will be shown in screen:

An epic cannot have another epic linked to it.

Some users would like option to hide this because Epic Link cannot be used with Epic itself.

Suggested Solution

Hide Epic Link field from Epic's create screen.

Workaround

Unlock Epic Link field by following steps from this KB and change the "Choose applicable issue types" to exclude Epic.

Do note that this could cause possibly some other problem.
