As many companies (including my organisation) uses a MDM-Solution do distribute Apps to managed devices within the organisation, it would help the employee a lot if we could pre-configure the server url.

Suggested solution:

Add Server URL as a minimum to AppConfig so that it can be pre-configured through a MDM Solution. See this site for reference: https://www.appconfig.org/ios/
