Recently I raised a topic with this question
Is it possible to activate Epic panel on Kanban Board (not Backlog board)?
But the answer was negative.
So, please add a possibility to activate Epic panel on Kanban board.
Problem Definition
We use Kanban board for support tasks for our different products (web sites). We can't filter all on-going tasks on the Kanban board by separate product.
In our case One product (web site) = One epic. Epics are hidden from Kanban board, because of using of Backlog Board.
Suggested Solution
To add an Epic panel to Kanban board as it is presented in Backlog board
Why this is important
It will be very convenient to use JIRA, if you use one project for a lot of products.

Epics are a very important part of our use of Jira. We do rank our Epics, but do not complete all stories for one Epic before going to the next epic. Stories across our top epics are ranked and worked on the Kanban board. However, once stories begin work, we lose Epic visibility & the ability to quickly filter by Epic, like the Epic panel provides. Using Epic swimlanes loses the overall story ranking order. And it is not realistic to write Quick Filters for every Epic. Seems like this would be an easy add to allow the Epic panel when viewing the Kanban board view. (Well also for the Scrum board too!)
Or can you share the reason / purpose for why the Epic panel is not available on the board view (only available on the Backlog)?
