Summary
In Jira Software 7.7.0 and higher, the "Control Chart" report show variables for duration - specifically, variables like core.durationutils.unit.day and core.durationutils.unit.hour instead of d and h respectively.
This affects new installations and fresh upgrades.
Environment
- Jira Software 7.7 and higher
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a project with sample data, or view an existing project after an upgrade
- Click "Reports" in the sidebar
- Swap to the "Control Chart" report
Expected Results

Actual values will differ in your instance
