Currently the log analyzer, which is part of the troubleshooting support tools in the Administration page of Jira does not work, when the Jira instance is behind a firewall and cannot connect to the internet. Some customers with restrictions on connecting to the outside network like https://getsupport.atlassian.com/browse/PS-20018 need a alternative to analyze the logs without having to connect to the internet.
[JSWSERVER-16268] Log Analyzer should work in environments that are not connected to the internet

Our environment is completely firewalled from the internet, making this feature useless. If there was even a way to download a dataset periodically via manual process, we could bring it through our airlock and load it into Jira to use for these daily log comparisons.
