In IE 11 completing all sub-tasks on the board will not give you popup asking for if you want to complete its parent task too

      Hi everyone,

      We have recently received feedback from some of you that the issue should be of a higher priority.

      After a closer look the team has decided to fix the issue as soon as we address issues that have broader impact and cause friction for bigger number of instances and users overall. 

      Please consult the Atlassian Bugfix Policy for more details.

      Although we're aware the issue is still important to those of you who were involved in the conversations around it, we want to be clear in managing your expectations.

      We understand how disappointing this decision may be, but we hope you'll appreciate our transparent approach and communication.

      Atlassian will continue to watch this issue for further updates, so please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.

      Summary

      In IE 11 Completing all subtasks on the board will not give give you popup asking for if you want to complete its parent task too.

      Environment

      IE 11
      JIRA 7.5.2

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Access the instance using IE 11.
      2. In the board, move all the subtask for an issue to done.

      Expected Results

      JIRA will show a popup asking if you want to move the parent task to done too.

      Actual Results

      The popup is not shown and an error message is shown:
