Summary

When viewing a Scrum or Kanban board's Backlog or Active Sprints, you can click an issue to bring up the detail view in the right-hand column. In JIRA 7.2.0 and above, hovering over the section headers (Details, People, Dates, Description, Comments, Attachments, and Sub-Tasks) reveals a collapse/expand button that does not function (Screenshot 1). You're only able to expand and collapse sections via the navigation panel at left.

In JIRA 7.1.10 and below, these collapse/expand buttons do not appear when hovering over section titles.

Environment

JIRA 7.2.0 and above.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Install any JIRA >= 7.2.0
2. Add a sample project and board
3. View the board's Backlog or Active sprints and click an issue.
4. Hover over a section header in the right-hand pane.

Expected Results

Since collapse/expand buttons appear, they should function as such.

Actual Results

Collapse/expand buttons appear on hover-over but do not function.

Notes

This provides for very confusing UI. Everywhere else in the interface, these expand/collapse buttons function as expected.
