Steps to Reproduce:
- Integrate JIRA with Bitbucket Server.
- Create a Branch from JIRA.
- Navigate to Bitbucket Server to clarify the branch exist.
- Navigate to the Repo "Settings" and find the path for "Location on Disk"
- Navigate to the path found using the terminal in the system file.
- Run git branch to clarify that the branch is created.
- Run the command below:
git branch -D <branch name>
- Check in Bitbucket Server that the branch does not exist anymore.
- Back to JIRA issue where it being mentioned by the branch name.
Expected Result:
- The development panel will remove the branch.
Actual Result:
- The branch still exist
Workaround
- Create the same branch again in the remote repository and delete it through a local working repository.
For DVCS accounts, run a full sync to the repository (shift+click the sync icon). This will erase all data, including the branch, and synchronize everything again.
