Problem Definition:

At the moment, JIRA DVCS Connector will periodically sync the connected Repositories every hour. When this happens, we only have the spinning arrows without any information about the sync. Then, when it is finished, we only able to see the "Last Activity" of the Repo.

Suggested Solution:

Like how JIRA is doing a Sync when it is connected to LDAP, it will be great if it mentions about the time it took for sync such as:

1. If the sync is still going, how much time has elapsed?
2. If it is finished, how long does it take?
3. Info whether it is "Full Sync" or "Soft Sync"

Why is it needed?

This could be used to monitor the sync performance when JIRA is doing it. Support could refer to this information as well to check all the information above that will help to troubleshoot.
