It is currently now possible to create multi-level swimlanes in JIRA.

Suggested Solution

To have something like a multi-project view, meaning the top level of the swim-lane is Projects and then as a second entity a new sub swim-lane Epics. It could also be part of the Board settings configuration screens.

Why this is important

It will be very useful for people and companies who are working on multi projects altogether since it will give real orientation on all levels what is critical to be done for the current week, and also to properly track the finalizations of all epics and projects.
