      Problem Definition

In Jira 7, it is not possible to display release statistics as available in the previous version (Jira 6) as below:

In Jira 7 , only overall statistics as below is available and user will not able to filter the statistics according to its release version.

      Suggested Solution

Add the option to select release version so that user can view statistics equivalent to pre-release instead of overall statistics

I agree with this ticket: We miss the statistics page for individual release versions in JIRA 7 too.

This function is very useful and our customer is not satisfied with the actual status in version 7.

Has anyone found a workaround for this to be able to see statistics on a per version basis?

Yah this is a real issue to have it gone. My group will not be renewing until it is resolved.

I agree with the above too. In JIRA 6, I relied on the statistic page on a per version basis as an overview of the version and to easily see assignments and what status tickets were in. Is there a reason it was removed? Or is there any equivalent in JIRA 7?

Sort of related, but in JIRA 6, it was 2 quick clicks from the project page to get statistics on version - you would click on Road Map, and then the version. The Releases page sort of replaces Road Map, but the Unreleased versions are sorting in the opposite order than what Road Map used to do (see my feedback in JSWSERVER-15363). Then as stated above, even if you click into a version, you don't have a way to get the statistics per version.

The JIRA 6 statistic page for releases provided a better, more-granular overview of the issues in a release that made it easy to view assignees' workload/remaining tickets, component breakdown, and overall progression.

If you provide the JIRA 6 statistics page in addition to the new version page, as a way to satisfy this issue, I hope that we'll be able to select the default view/page when landing on a version page.
