    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

Currently in JIRA Cloud is isn't possible to change what appears in the 'Issues in Epic' panel in an epic screen.

The columns shown are the issue reference, issue summary, issue type and status.

I would like to be able to see other information in this screen, such as time tracking information (estimated & remaining) and other fields that can be filtered on.

[JSWSERVER-14565] Add facility to change what is displayed in the 'Issues in Epic' panel

Having the ability to even just show a Priority field in the Epic view (as opposed to having to use the Issues search view) would be massively beneficial for planning and high level review

Considering this issue is still "Gathering Interest" since 2016 and there's no assignee there's probably not much chance this will get changed any time soon, but I suggested this change to the Cloud version of the app:

Until a better fix is in place, would it be possible to have the "Issues in Epic" have a link that generates JQL in the Issue Navigator since that's the current workaround?

To increase speed and efficiency, this would be a huge benefit.  When planning and reviewing epics for understanding, being able to add, view and edit stories in the epic view is necessary.  Reordering priority, adding points on the epic would make life so much easier.

Would be nice to be able to customise the view to display the desired information that helps to quickly filter through tickets. Hoping to have the feature in project level rather than as a global setting.

Would be great to be able to see the sprint assigned out to each story within an epic.  Current you have to click on each story to see this.

I agree, as a company with 1000+ Jira users I don not want to pay for another plug in and would want this to be fixed and available. The functionality is available for Subtasks so why can we not have this for the Epics?

Don't want to pay 2500 USD for something this simple.

That add-on should not be required for this.

In my case - I just want to see story points in the "issues in Epic" view - so I know which stories are eating up my resources.

The only workaround I have found is to create a custom filter for the issues within an epic so that I can choose what columns I want.  It's kind of a pain, but it works for the duration of the epic

Sorry, but as a company that has almost 1000 Jira users, I find it absurd paying thousands of dollars for such basic capabilities.

The pricing for most small add-ons are unrealistic

I really would like to see this in Jira standard functionality as well but we found that the plug-in Issue Matrix  (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1212709/issue-matrix?hosting=server&tab=overview) gave us major flexibility in configuring different display matrices for all different link types including Issues in Epic.

Not having structure add-on and not being able to adjust the columns in the issues in epics makes it almost impossible to manage the Epic-Story-Tasks/Bugs/Sub tasks.

Would really help adding the Sprint/FixVersion/Effort Estimation to this view. Currently the only way is to switch to filters and queries which is a hassle.

I don't believe I'm saying that, but I miss the Server Jira

You can customize other search views, the Issues in Epic needs to be customizable. This is a big downside to the cloud version where you cannot customize this section. We have a couple of columns that we would add:

            priority, sprint, fix version(s)

This feature is very important to be able to see certain fields from the high level view of the EPIC rather than going into each JIRA.

This would be a great feature to add. The details currently displayed in the "Issues in Epic" section are good, but we run projects which are larger and have multiple components. In a lot of cases, a ticket may be cloned for multiple components within the same project. Just looking at the epic, it's not easy to tell which ticket in the epic corresponds to which component. This results in having to open several tickets in order to easily find the one I'm looking for.

It would be great to be able to customize what data shows in that list. Even at a global level.

+1 agree for this feature to be added:  Being able to see Story Points column in 'issues in epic' view, would be really useful to see how big an epic is.  Currently need to open each individual issues listed under an epic to see the story points assigned to each.

Our app Exocet can help, in this article we explain how it can be used to customize how issues are visible from Epics.
This is a paid app, until Atlassian implements this feature it could be a workaround for some of you.

            Hope this helps.

As far as I can tell this also applies to JIRA Server. This would be very helpful to our project managers. If a person could have a personal preference of the columns that they would like shown in the list of Issues within the Epic it would be much more user friendly.
