      Hello,

In the near term we have no intention of changing the user management aspect of JIRA Agile as we are focusing our energies on other functionality, notably GHS-1800.

      Thank you.

      Regards,
      Nicholas Muldoon

    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

A business requirement for the use of the JIRA Agile plugin in our company is that only certain groups should have access to any Greenhopper functionality.

We ideally need a way to configure JIRA Agile to restrict access to it either to specified groups or specified project roles.

          Form Name

[JSWSERVER-1374] Restrict JIRA Agile usage to specified user groups

            Erik,

We have done nothing but consider alternative to Jira. Frankly, it shocks me what Atlassian gets away with. I'm assuming the business environment and legal system in Australia is out to lunch.

That said - can not find alternative as of yet. AND THIS IS WHY ATLASSIAN GETS AWAY WITH MURDER. Developing a competing product is not a big deal and would take far less energy then what Jira users have pissed away with this hack product.
