Description
Steps
- Configure a board to use Queries in Card colors
- Log in as a user, which lacks the permissions to edit the board
- Open the board configuration (whichever tab)
Expectation
No errors.
Reality
There's an error on the bottom of the page:
Exception: TypeError: that.field[0] is undefinedResource: http://ordinarypeople.syd.atlassian.com:8080/GHS-51939/s/e84aa6ae18c86f687885a93e0d9a7086-CDN/en_USgv4io4/71013/b6b48b2829824b869586ac216d119363/a615114f83cc11e95a6f8ed7030317e5/_/download/contextbatch/js/greenhopper-rapid-non-gadget,atl.general,jira.global,gh-rapid-config,jira.general,-_super/batch.js?agile_global_admin_condition=true&is-server-instance=true&jag=true&jaguser=true&locale=en-US&nps-not-opted-out=trueLine: 126203Column: 17
Exception: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'value' of undefined
It seems, the code wants to do something with an #ghx-card-color-jql-create element, but it is absent. It is absent, because a user doesn't have the permission to edit the JQL query on Card colors tab and therefore the <textarea> doesn't exist.
Workaround
Please remove card colour configuration based on JQL.
