Problem Definition

Currently, JIRA have a limitation to configure more than 45k issues in the board. If configured it, user will received a timeout or javascript error due to the data was too huge to be loaded.

Step to reproduce the problem

1. Configure a new filter that will return 45k+ issues in the Issue Navigator page.
2. Create a board and use the filter.
3. View the board and you will get the timeout error below:

Kanban Board:

Suggested Solution

It would be better if JIRA Agile or Kanban board can support more than 45k+ issues.

Workaround

Reduce the number of issues to the minimum which is less than 10k+ issues.
