Adding Watchers to an Epic should automatically add those watchers to the issues in that Epic

      It would really makes sense if the watchers that I added on the Epic would also be automatically added to the issues in that Epic. This will notify the watchers of the Epic if any changes is made on the issues in that Epic

            yes, this would be epic feature. Every few days smbd comes up with this idea. Atlassian, please, implement it

            Please provide this helpful feature so that an individual watching an Epic has the option to opt in/out of watching all issues within the Epic unless explicitly an issue is selected/deselected.

            It sucks that this isn't available. As a workaround, I'm going to create a Filter + Subscription that emails me once/day if new issues are created as part of that Epic, and then I can manually add myself as a Watcher. Still a big pain and requires manual maintenance, but seems to be the only option until this feature is available.

            I doubt this issue will be touched upon considering the age of this ticket, however this would be a much needed feature for Jira Cloud.
